Additionally, we work in concert with the nine other California Alzheimer’s Disease Centers to improve dementia care in the State of California.
Our Mission
The UCSF Fresno Alzheimer & Memory Center (AMC) is a center of excellence in dementia diagnosis and treatment. As one of the ten California Alzheimer’s Disease Centers established by the State of California in 1984, the AMC serves patients and families in a broad geographical area, from Modesto to Bakersfield. We provide training to medical professionals in the care of dementia patients, and we provide education, social support, and care management to caregivers.
